Accredited Vascular Lab
Buffalo Vascular Care has an IAC Accredited Vascular Lab on site performing the following vascular studies:
- ABI/TBI and Segmental Pressure Measurement
- Screening for PAD
- Arterial Color Duplex of upper and lower extremities
- Identifies level and degree of arterial stenosis
- Venous Doppler of upper and lower extremities
- Evaluates for DVT and thrombophlebitis
- Venous Insufficiency Study of lower extremities
- Evaluates for DVT, thrombophlebitis, venous reflux, varicose veins
- Pelvic Venous Duplex
- Evaluates pelvic venous congestion / reflux syndrome
- Evaluates testicular / ovarian vein reflux
- AAA Screening Study
The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) is a nonprofit organization in operation to evaluate and accredit facilities that provide diagnostic imaging and procedure-based modalities, thus improving the quality of patient care provided in private offices, clinics and hospitals where such services are performed. The IAC programs for accreditation are dedicated to ensuring quality patient care and promoting health care and all support one common mission:
