BVC Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine is seeking a dependable, energetic Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced specialty wound care practice. We focus on advanced wound management and amputation prevention in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
This position is ideal for someone who works efficiently, stays organized, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vitals and update medical histories
- Assist providers with wound assessments and procedures
- Prepare and organize wound care supplies
- Perform dressing changes and basic wound care (as trained)
- Maintain clean and stocked treatment rooms
- Document accurately in EMR
- Support smooth daily clinical flow
Ideal Candidate
- MA certification preferred (not required with experience)
- 1+ year clinical experience preferred
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and proactive
- Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Comfortable assisting with wound care procedures
